Re: Roller Rockers vs Explorer Valve Cover
I had no real problems with Roller Rockers. I used comp cam rockers with the adjustable needle cups. However I am using the stock mustang valve covers (aluminum) in which I had to just grind away the oil baffle. Put them on and no interferance at all. Just my two cents and probably only worth half a...

Sorry, I've been really busy, plus I have to get some pics off of a harddrive from a computer I don't have hooked up. I will get to that this week. Tell you what.. Tell me the colour ...

Hey, I convertyed my carbed ranger over to fuelly using an 89 harness as well these are the pinouts that I have on record, but I will double check my harness connections. I eliminated a few pins from the original harness of the mustang. My truck started on the first crank with no problems... I will ...

I heard alot of them adjust their timing and they usually pass. I Would check the net on the 95 engine throught the mustang forums... They have alot of usefu...

Re: Need help starting
I've made progress but I'm not there yet. Also I know people speak of the computer running the fuel pump for 1 second when the key is turned on but mine runs for as long as the key is on. Does that have any bearing on this? When the ignition switch is first turned to 'ON' position, the EEC relay is...

My theory didn't work out so far. Hook up a test light between the signal wire at the starter solenoid and the terminal on the thing. If it lights up you are getting power to the solenoid. If not .... 1> The transmission is not in PARK or NEUTRAL 2> The wiring is not wired correctly. 3> Neutral sen...

Anyway...I now have fuel and crank but still no spark. No spark you say! How did you hook up your existing wiring from the ranger to the mustang harness. The wires pretty much correspond to each other harness. Well at least on my application... I am now reading some ranger wiring and looking at the...

Now here's my wiring situation. I have a loose wire from the truck that used to run to my old A4LD's neutral switch. It's red/white. The new AOD's neutral switch has only 4 wires compared to the A4LD's 5. I found corresponding homes for the AOD's 4 wires already. 3 match to 3 of the wires on the tr...

Whatever way you may look at it, streetracing is wrong. How do you know you were the only bystanders? Remeber that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. I've just heard too many innocent bystanders being killed because of street racing. I'm not the enemy, I may be that guy you didn't see off to ...

Just my thought on your swap. If you are going to get the engine get the tranny, plus all the electronics that go with it. If my memory serves me right the 1993 mustang was the last to get the AOD, so that mustang will have a electronic tranny known as a AODE or something like that. I noticed you sa...
