I will give it a try it this week hopefully. Since mine is an 84, what should my relay be grounded to? Also has anyone had a brand new starter not work, or has heard of this happening?

Got to do some work

Well Friday I got to do some work on it and things where up and down. First I went to take the starter off to test it and the bolt that the starter cable attaches sheared off. So I will be taking a new starter back anyhow. Checked to see if I was at least getting fuel and that was a releif. I did fi...

The wire plug I used is off a 86 B2. I have orange and orange with a black strip. I have it as orange wire ...

Where did you get that spring? Do you know how to take off the existing slave cylinder off the line? Mine is an 84 model.

I know I asked this before...

I know I asked this before but I can't find the pics in any of my posts. Also a guy emailed them to me and my wife deleted it of our email. Can someone post a pic of a completely assembled slave cylinder mounted on the tranny and hooked up to the clutch fork. Also how do you remove the old slave? Do...

Even if I had something not souldered to good, or wired wrong, it should have still cranked right? Because the wiring from the key to the starter weren't spliced at all.

Well I finally get to finish my update. Like I said, when I turned the key there was only the clicking of the starter relay, and it seemed a little abnormally loud. I didn't get to check anything else, like spark and fuel because I was pressed for time when I got to try and start it. I am pretty sur...

Well I tried

Well I finally got an opportunity to work on it today. It was warm, the wife and her mom where taking our baby out, and I had nothing else to do. Well I got to try and start it today (not yet complete) but gave it a shot. Well all I got was the relay clicking. I am hoping I got something wrong cause...

What I do is use a small board and put it over the piston and then use the c-clamp. This distributes the force evenly.
