Re: I've gone Turbo!!!

Awesome. I see you still have the colored bands around them. After you get a few miles on them and get what ever coating tires seem to ship with burnt you'll be amazed at how those things hook when they heat up. On regular 315 street tires I could punch it in 3rd at 75mph and just rip the back end ...

Re: I've gone Turbo!!!

Well, it was about time I buy the rims lol. It took me this long because I ordered some 15s by 10 but i found out that the brakes were too big for these rims and that also i could squeeze one more inch wide, so i went for the 17s by 11. In a couple of weeks I'll have the drag radials. Hopefully that...

Re: My 93 Ranger With Wilwood Brakes

Heck of a nice system you got there. That rear disk setup with the mini drum brakes inside for the parking brake is the same setup the factory Explorer brakes use too. How much did that setup cost? Thanks! It cost me around $2500 I have to agree, that does look like a very clean and easy setup. Wit...

My 93 Ranger With Wilwood Brakes

When I changed the stock rims for the ones I have for now (17") back in 2001, the truck never stopped the same (NOW IMAGE WITH A V8 AND TURBO:scared:). That's when I knew I wanted big brakes for my truck. But unfortunately all of us know that Wilwood and other brake companies don't care about m...

Re: Driving my turbocharged v8 ranger

Yeah v8 rangers in the rain are loco, boosted v8s are hell no lol. I'm not boosting 22 psi, I'm only boosting 12 psi for now, 22 psi with these tires i will not get traction not even 160 mph and I think that it sounds kinda dangerous lol. Wider tires are in the future. I have to worry about my overh...
