I dont know what your state emisstions are, but I know here in NY state, anything 96 and newer has to be pluged in to the OBDII port to pass inspection. If you take off the EFI you wont have the computer and therefore cant be pluged in.

What is the purpose of that "quick disconect valve" Can I remove that and not use it? The stock line is to short so I need to find a differant way to hook it up. I found a line that is for a 88 F-150 that has the same fittings and is longer and will fit as far a lenth but I will have to re...

Well the line I bought on e-bay may just be to short. Its a stock replacement line but I think its going to be about an inch to short. I will find out Monday when I try and put it in.

I am running an all stock clutch set up for a 1990 GT. maybe that is the differance. And with the pressure plate being stock replacment it wont need as much force to push. I estimate about 275 to 300HP on my engine. but I am going with the fact a stock 1990 5.0HO is 225HP and with differant heads an...

My bell is from a 1990. My slave is for a 83 Ranger. I had to space it back because if I didnt the slave was bottomed out and I think it was starting to push on the fork. I didnt want it to be dottomed out like that as I figured it might be pushing on the clutch and there for maybe giving it the cha...

I do understand what your saying. Looking at your pic and my pic the setup is the same idea but differant. I had to space my braket further back and you didnt. I dont know if its because they are two differant bell housings or what. I couldnt set mine up the way yours is. I take that back, if I do t...

I'm trying to understand why you would have to replace the stock rod with a bolt. When I made my plate I had to double it up where it bolts to the houseing in order to get it far enough away from the fork. The way it sits right now there does seem to be presure on the fork form the slave. I do remem...

My hydraulic conversion underway

Here are some pics of my hydraulic conversion underway. I am waiting for the stock line to come in now so I can hook it up. I will probably add a brace from the bracket so it will help with the pressure so I don't end up braking off the bell housing. It may not be necessary but I would rather be saf...

I personly would ditch that motor and get the 5.0HO. You can rebuild that put a cam in it and some GT-40 heads for the $1000 and I think you will be allot happyer with the performance of that over that old 351. Thats just my opinion.
