A little Google search shows it boasts wuper claims with nothing to back it. They have models to fit everything and claim it can reach the moon. I can't find anything other then the factory sales pitch. Never heard of such a thing. They say it is a tuner that you do yourself in minutes instead of se...

You are not too far off from what I run. I do turn it a little faster. Usually shifting just over 6k and fuel cut set at 6600. But running a 3.25" stroker kit. Boreing is a process that takes a cutting blade and carves chips off the cylinder wall to open the hole. Honing can be done with the 3 ...

Fuel pressure should fluctuate while driving. That is what the vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator is designed to do. Actually what it does is keep a constant pressure differential between the intake and the fuel supply. At high vacuum (decel conditions) fuel pressure is reduced. At full throt...

Best improvment to a small block is a good set of heads. Even with a mild cam a good set of heads will do wonders. The stock heads have tiny ports (mostly exhaust side) that can't flow no matter how good the intake or headers are. Stock '84 mustang engine should be a 4 barrel that flows halfway dece...

It is what came with the motor which is a 92 5.0 ho. I know the plug in the back with the 3 wires is the voltage regulator, but I don't know where they go. Also on top of the altornator is a 3 prong plug which is not on my harness, so what do I do with this? Sounds like you have a 2G alternator. I ...

I have a set of Explorer seats on the Ranger tracks. They sit a little higher but are fine and comfortable. The trouble I see for you is the standard cab. I remember haveing a standard cab and having to shove the seat almost all the way back just to drive the truck, and I am 4" shorter then you...

From reviews I have seen, the stock Cobra intake blows away the cheap chinesse typhoon (and most others as well) on all but the most heavily built engines. Keep the cobra intake.

Width should be about right. The old mustang 5 lug trick was to use 2 driver side Ranger axles and drums. But after that, nothing else is going to be pretty. All brackets will need changing. The cast in ears on the pumpkin will have to be abandoned, hope they will clear. When you are done, you then ...

I don't know why Ford stacked the clutches they way they were to start with. The stock setup is to have a steel, fiber, 2 more steels, a fiber, 2 steels, a fiber, and so on. Restacking to have steel, fiber, steel, fiber, etc makes more room to get another fiber in there which gives more surface are...

I don't like Holley fuel pumps. When ever you are looking at a part and the recomended item to go with it is the rebuild kit for the very same part, Just doesn't cut it. I passed on 2 of them once. They were free. Both needed rebuild kits. I can't recomend any fuel pumps until we know how much boost...

From what I have found, only the standard transmission non-A/C 4.0 without tow package is the "standard" radiator. All others are heavy duty.

Most header collector gasket failures I have seen are caused by misalignment of the 2 flanges. If you hold the flanges together without bolting them, they should be parallel to each other. There should not be any preloading to make them fit either. Second killer is excessive movement.

Take the tailgate off first to make it lighter. 2 people can lift the bed off, 4 makes it much easier without doing the balancing act. It's my prefereed method of changing a ...
