I know with my Holly, the back two adj screws are only turned about a half turn out.. I think the front two are only out about 1 1/2 to 2 turns out.. There is a very fine line in the adjustment as to if it will backfire or hesitate.. Carbs can be very finiky, I think hollys are more tempermental tha...

Actually, I did my swap before I came on this site.. I found a web page where I guy posted his swap step by step, inch by inch.. It was well documented... Wish I still had that.. I think It would be very helpful for some people trying to do a swap.. It also had lots of pictures showing every step.. ...

If there is a cylinder not getting oil it may be the piston making noise.. I have heard a noise like that before in an engine right before it siezed up.. Maybe its a rocker arm.. The motor may be tilted up in the front, I think thats pretty normal, but is the intake level? Unless its running out of gas in the bowls or over flowing I wouldnt adj them.. Doesnt the carb have a site window on it so you can see how much gas is in the bowl?

I dont know nothing about the MSD ignitions. But, I used an HEI distributor in mine. It looks just like its a GM dist but its made for a Ford. I have had no problems and it was very cheap to buy... You will have to post some pics of the mounts you have.. I still have the stock V6 mounts in mine and ...

Welcome to a great place.... Everyone hear always has good ideas and I dont think there is one Ranger built alike.. Everyone has done motor mounts there own way and always work..So if you need help there you will get lots of ideas..

I got my carpet on E-Bay and it fit very well. It was pretty thick to. I thought it was very good quality. Thats about what I paid for mine, $120-$130

The exhaust comes out the center of the engine since the air goes in where the exhaust normally comes out on traditional engines. They did that so they could mount the turbo(s) in the valley of the engine to be water cooled. Very nice design.. Really? I need to check one of them motors out.. Now yo...

Now that crew is sharp.. If they would sell that here I think it would sell like hot cakes... If they dropped a V8 in that it would make it even better, or that other new eco boost engine and that truck would sell fast.. At least I think it would....
