Re: ride height
I agree... Your always better buying the right parts to do any job... But when money is tight...... We all do what we want to to get what we want... lol....MalcolmV8 wrote:I would not cut coils or heat them with a torch. Both methods are a hack at best and ride quality will suffer.

Re: ride height
Has anyone tried lowering their truck by cutting any coils out of the coil spring, if so does the truck still ride smooth and does it really mess up the camber and caster and make the tires wear unevenly Anytime you change the ride height it will change the camber and toe. Not so much the caster......

Re: t5 clutch/ master cylinder
I used a slave for a 84 2.8L 2wd Ranger. Its and external slave. I think the line I got was for an older f-150. It was longer and its a plastic line. The nipples go right into the Ranger master and slave. Then had to make a flate plate to bolt to the T-5 bell housing... http://i248.photobucket.com/al...

Re: 1/4 mile ?
Yes, Its a Paxton supercharger for a Mustang. You have to have a blow thru carb. A regular carb wont work. I only have it at 6 pounds of boost. I have thought about changing the pully and bumping it up to 9. But I dont drive it much and things are kind of tight right now. So im not spending and mone...

Re: Inner cylinders rich, outer cylinders lean??
However my car has A/C, power steering, smooth ride, corners like it's on rails, stops on a dime and decent gas mileage. Charger: no A/C, no heat even, no power steering, corners like an ocean liner, stopping is scary as hell at best with those factory drums and at some 4 ~ 6 mpg it's down right ho...
