holley makes a standalone "ford eec" replacement computer and new wiring harness to use all of you factory ford sensors except the mass air as its a speed density system, it will greatly simplify installation and allow you full control of engine tunning.

yup, the wide bands are so easy to install, two wires and an o2 bung in the exhaust thats it, reading plugs and ground straps is a crap shoot depending on the heat range of the plug and the fuel type, you can have two different appearing plugs but a releatively identical a/f ratios, or visa versa, t...

looking at you engine configuration ide "guess" that your making 425-475 on just engine and without knowing exact boost and iat's i cant guess hp,i would use a wide band o2 to do the tunning on your carbs, shoot for 13.4-13.6 at idle, 14.0-14.5 at cruise and 11.5-12.5 at wot, and i wouldnt...

i guess my point is that until you try to adapt disc brakes over to your drum rear and deal with changing your lines and ebrake cable you just spent more time time than what it would take to weld on shock and spring perches, and your still stuck with 28 spline axles., its really no more workdoing th...

i run 9-1 and ive had it up to 12 lbs on occasion but i mostly drive around at 7lbs cause i can blow the tires off at 70mph, that surge is strickly a tunning or lack of tunning issue, with fuel injection the map sensor and o2 can modify the fuel map to deal with the lean surge, butt on a carb blower...

well the nice part about the aem is its 200$ and it all in the kit and it has several outputs to interface with factory and aftermarker (0-5v) computers and it fits in a normal guage pod so it blends in with any other guages you might have and used versions are available from all the supra and honda...

i know im gonna buck the trend a little but im gonna advise you to buy an aem standalone wideband o2 guage and weld a bung in the exhaust and see what your actuall o2 ratio is you might be running rich or your truck is just a heavy slug then you have the aem that you can use for diagnostic purposes ...
