Re: Lake Emergency Overflow A Mile From House

I dont know how everything up north is going, however I know theres a few guys here at work that live in Butte La Rose, La along the Atchafalaya river that are expecting to lose everything. With the opening of the Morganza Spillway, they're expecting water to crest 3-5 feet above their houses. Wors...

Re: Inner cylinders rich, outer cylinders lean??

Just for **** and giggles, did you check the compression and see if they are all pretty even?? I know it may seam stupid. But if the center cylinders have allot more compression, don't you think that would cause them to get more gas too?? I also know that on my boat's engine it has a divider plate o...

Re: Inner cylinders rich, outer cylinders lean??

Hmmm.... I agree with you, Im thinking that its an intake problem... It sounds like the center is "sucking" more than the rest. Could be because of the size of the intake holes. I would change the intake to maybe even the stock one, just to see what it does then... But I would say its an i...

Re: 83 V8 5speed

Looks like a pain in the backside to even mess with trying to making those headers fit... But on the other hand, it would be kind of fun building and fabbing it up... Where are you going to run the front pipe?? I cant see where you have any place to run it, from that picture angle anyway

Re: fuel pressure issue

Are you sure that the pump is even rated for more that 6psi?? If the pump is for a carb setup, thats all the psi you will get... I guessing thats your problem... And I cant say I have ever heards anything good about pro comp stuff... Try blocking off your return line and see if your psi goes up...

Re: Driving my turbocharged v8 ranger

I had a cable setup at first. What a pain in the ass...... Its much easier to run the hydrolic setup than you think... I used my stock master cylinder then used a slave cylinder for an 84,, I think that was the year.... Then made a bracket and bolted it to the bell housing.... There are some old tre...

I use to have a "mini" starter on my Ranger... I kept having starting problems. So I went back to the regular "big" starter, and it turns over so much faster.... I didnt know you could shim a Ford starter.... If you shimed it, it would shim it out, not down further away from the ...

Re: Explorer intake and Mustang valve covers

Why not just swap the valve covers side to side?? I know it will end up putting the oil fill on the back side. But why cant you just do that. Then you just have to make a couple of your vacum lines longer... Or just get a differant set of covers... Just my 2 cents....
