motor angle

Post by 94stranger »

does a motor have to be perfectly straight? I noticed the other day when I had my truck on the host and started to swap out the front suspension, and I noticed tyhat my tranni was on a little angle same as the motor is this a big problem or is it alright if the motor is on a little angle.

It shouldn't hurt anything. The only thing it might affect is the universal joints if it is a lot.

I set my angle based on the u-joints to have a smooth vibration free drive line.

my motor front to back is good (I think) it seems the passenger side of the motor is a little higher then the driver side.
