I took it out a couple of times before i got the tranny rebuilt. I was having a 3rd gear issue. Issue was i couldnt get it into 3rd gear. So i was bouncing it off the rev limiter long before the 1/4.

13.1 @ 103MPH. Now that I have a third gear, I need to get it out to the track. I have also installed a 150 shot but yet to test it out. So if the tranny is all good now and the 150 gets tuned up I am hoping for a much improved time.

You must have good traction. I ran 12.2 on street tires in my Cobra but it was at 126 mph.

I'll have to dig up the slip but yeah it was horrible. I spun all through first and most of second and wheel hop was really bad. So bad I ended up snapping the driver's side half shaft after visiting the track a few times. I guess the wheel hop just weak'nd the heck out of it and one day I made a pass and right as I shifted to second it just snapped and made a really loud bang sound inside the car.

Be happy it was just a halfshaft. not so fortunate for some of the earlier mustang guys without c-clip eliminators... they lose their whole wheel with the axle... haha...
When's the next attempt? and hopefully with some DR's this time?

For now I just want to get the motor fixed and running again and yes some drag radials are definitely needed.
