Hi everyone I'm new to the board and I'm finally able to post some questions to you all thanks to Malcom, who fixed my login thing (thanks again Malcom!).

Welcome. So what kind of conversions have you been involved in?

We got people here that aren't just Ranger enthusiasts. One guy's been doing conversions since the Ford Courier days. Others like me, joined in just a few years ago. Some, like me, are mostly stock engine swaps. Others are heavily modified. Can you imagine a twin turbo 347 in a Ranger? If not, here's a pic:

As a new member, don't forget to go back to your profile and enter your year Ranger(s) along with any details about it like motor, carbed/inj, tranny, RE, performance adders, traction adders, etc etc.

I'm not new new but, have limited experience. I use to have an '86 ranger std cab 302 carbed, than I blew the headgaskets and droped in a '65 289. What a difference from the 302 with intake and four-barrel carb to a 289 with a 2-barrel (289 had a lot more power). about 2 years agp I spent $2500and painted it a gloss black with 3 coats of clear, than an OLD lady jumped a light hit me dead center and wrote it off (the worse day of my life). Since than I picked up a '94 ranger ext 4.0L v6. My tranni went in it at 496000k almost 500000!!!!
now I've droped in a '86 5.0L HO EFI with 88 harness and computer (mass air). This is my first EFI swap so I'm i little lost!!! LOL >8)
