this is great, heres my tractor, a 1961 john deere 1010 with a 3.8 "backyard" conversion, please not the rust colored paint on the headers, the 1984 subaru radiator and the high tech power steering cap on the pump, no expense spared here! some of you will notice the high tech parking brake and the left rear tire was a right rear tire at one point

My first little Ford truck with a V-8, has to be from mid 80's. Nice 289 with C-4, switched in a 8" rear from a Maverick. Bought it with the V-8 in it off a car lot. The van exhaust manifolds were switched side to side to run the exhaust out to the front. Used to be an old hot rod trick. My old '37' LaSalle had the same set-up. Those headers were ceramic coated way back then. Had fun toying with a lot of cars back then.

87ranger, I put a set of duals on my John Deere one time and didn't pay attention and had them on the wrong sides. Didn't notice until another farmer asked what was up with that. I told him that was to get traction in reverse.

Dave, that Courier sure brings back memories from the day. Buddy of mine had one like it, just not a V8, bone stock but he still beat the crap out of it like it was a V8.
