I am certain that my 88 does not have a proportion valve on it. Seems like the front line goes from the master cyclinder to the line lok to a splitter then to the left and right wheels.

Yea, mine is also like that on my 88. I also plan on getting a line lock for mine also.

Here's a pic that I found. The line lok is fastened to the bottom side of the master cyclinder using large hose clamps.

No prob.

On a side note but not completly unrelated.... it's been a several months since I have driven my truck. It was down for a while getting the tranny rebuilt, then cold weather happened.

today i got the tranny in and hooked up so i drove it around the block. Then i tested out the line loc in front of my house :D . Lets just say that it made a little noise and the neighbors did not appreciate it like i did and they called the cops  . Cops show up and I just knew i was in for a ticket as the truck was still parked on the street and it has two big piles of burnt rubber behind the tires :D .

Cops " You been out here doing power stalls"
Me "I would love to lie to you and say that I didn't but its pretty obvious that I did"
Cops " Well there are your tires and they look expensive so I would suggest that you not do that anymore"

they really didnt care at all. Then we went out to the truck and I showed them all the modifications to the truck and they were impressed. Great thing about living in Oklahoma is that there is no safty inspections anymore and anything goes unless the cop want to be a prick. luckly these cops were cool.

Got my line lock hooked up gave it a quick try ! that was fun . I don't realy plan on using it much but you never know . although my ranger has been turn key for about 5 yrs now I went ahead and took this time to replace some brake lines ( of course we all know you are never finished with the project ) . Warpig glad to hear that you didn't catch to much static . I guess I am luck usually when I pull the ranger out of the garage my neighbors motion for me to smoke em
