Since im still in the process of finishing up my motor swap and I currently dont have a dash in my truck but have a guage cluster off an explorer 5.0, would it be possible to install a digital computer reading gauge cluster and do away with the OEM guage cluster. Will the truck turn on with the guage cluster removed since the PATS works along with the ECU?
The Racepak kit costs $725 and this kit cost $160
Here's the digital guage screen im interests in

Re: Digital Computer Guage cluster
Too bad it looks like it is only set up for single cylinder engines.

Re: Digital Computer Guage cluster
I called this morning and they told me it would work on v8 motors but still waiting on the sensor questions I had about the kit.
Re: Digital Computer Guage cluster
I heard back from tech & even though I was told it could work on a v8 motor it has never been tried on a ranger v8 swap so pretty much it would be a research & development deal on my part and I could get mixed results. Kinda sucks
