Why don't you try a Ranger V6 rad. It fits fine. I bought two of them out of, I think, 96 Rangers as there was a problem from the factory and the sides leaked. They seem to cool the 351W in my truck, worked well for the 302, I haven't driven the 351W much to be honest. You need to do something with the water pump, not much room. I have a pre69 pump and removed a bit of material off the front fan bracket, I have about 1/2" clearance. The rad sits on the frame and mounts on the front in the stock locat1on.

: Malcom- it looks like you used an explorer v8 radiator in your truck. if so how did you get it to fit? the explorer radiator has two arms about 10 inches from the bottom that line up with the factory mounts on my 95. the radiator hangs down too low and i'll have to cut the front frame crossmember out to use it. (the one that shields the steering linkage, hangs lower on the driver's side). i have also read that a stock 6 cyl radiator works. i dont really want to get an under core support radiator because of moving the condenser, but i dont have the short accessory drive either. what did you use and how hot does it get?
