Ok being that I have a mustang that has the 8.8 RE and disc brakes, I got an idea that may or may not help others in converting from drum to disc. Basically what would be involved is to cut the ends of the RE tubes off of an 8.8 that comes with disc brakes and weld them on to the 8.8 that has drums. This will alow for bolting up the brakets(any position you desire based on how you weld on the tube ends) and allow for bolting on the Mustang calipers and discs. Weather or not the Rangers e-brake cables will work, dont know may or may not need custom cables.

Its just an idea. Whatcha think?
