I asked D&D performance about this as I do indeed have the taper pocket type bearing Cobra setup and I have a 3.35 first gear. They told me that 3.35 ratio is all that ever came came directly from Ford in both the GTs and Cobra's. They said the 2.95 first gear is strictly aftermarket and was never in a factory T5.
