Right. I decided not to climb under there under those conditions when I cound I could simulate the vibe at idle in 5th. Even then I had my wife sitting the vehicle with her foot hovering on the brake pedel.

Oh and as for the rim / tire wobble. It's the whole assembly. I could see the profile of the actual rim wobbling, not just the tire. I didn't get a chance to switch them yet. No audible noise at all from back there.

Reason the first thing that came to mind is bend axle is that the same "nice people" that sold me the "mint condition" tranny sold me the rearend.
